New talent boosts Belmores Wealth

Belmores Wealth Management (BWM) has expanded with two additional financial planners, enhancing their service across the region.

With a robust client base exceeding 500 across the region and Australia, BWM has firmly established itself as a trusted leader in financial advice.

Adding to their success BWM has added two qualified financial planners, Boyd Preston and Marcus Hargreaves who have brought their own experience and qualifications to the team and are now servicing clients in the region. 

Marcus, continuing the family legacy established by his now-retired father Terry who helped establish Belmores Wealth, has been dedicated to the financial planning industry since 2017.

Born and educated in Yarrawonga, Marcus started his financial management training at Belmores in 2017, then moved to Geelong and worked in a financial planning firm there before moving back to Yarrawonga with his young family and re-joining Belmores in December of 2023.

Marcus has excelled academically, earning a Bachelor of Business (Financial Planning) with distinction. He's also become an Accredited Aged Care Professional, having recently completed specialised training through Aged Care Steps.

Also born and educated in Yarrawonga, former Yarrawonga Sacred Heart College Dux, Boyd Preston has worked in the financial planning industry since 2021.

Boyd, whose father is local ANZ Bank Manager Hugh Preston, has completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Financial Planning/Accounting) with distinction.

Drawing on their comprehensive financial training and expertise, Marcus and Boyd offer clients specialised advice in key areas including:

• Retirement planning
• Investments
• Superannuation and pension
• Personal insurances
• Aged care planning
• Debt management
• Social security

Both financial planners service clients all over the district including Yarrawonga. Boyd services clients in the Myrtleford and Bright offices and Marcus assists in the Numurkah office.

They both enjoy playing local sports, including football at Rennie and you might even have seen Boyd on a windsurfer on Lake Mulwala.
